The winner of the summer reading challenge prize draw is Oscar Hughes photographed here with his older sister Amelia Hughes. Oscar is 7 and in year 3 at Hall Orchard Primary School.

The prize draw took place at the library on Monday 16th September by our chairman Keith Butler. Amelia also completed the summer reading challenge she is age 9 and in year 5 at Hall Orchard Primary School.

Congratulations to Oscar we hope he enjoys spending his £20 book token at Waterstones.

Thank you to all the children who took part in this years challenge a total of 165 starters with 115 children finishing the challenge our highest numbers to date! A big thank you to all the library volunteers for making this years summer reading challenge a success.

We look forward to next year’s challenge.
