It was a happy Monday afternoon this week when the library received a cheque for £1,518.05 from the Loughborough Building Society.

The Loughborough Building Society have two types of Barrow upon Soar Library Community Savings Accounts, offering good rates of interest. The library receives and annual bonus based on the total amount saved. Many volunteers at the library, and users of the library, have opened one of these savings accounts. This is the eighth year running that the library has received a bonus payment.

The payment is a valuable contribution to the costs of running the library.
